Through the use of our local Marine Risk Managers and our International team ACE provides different services for our clients.

On the market ACE has alternatives helping to prevent, control and administer losses that can occur in Marine.  As well there is a group of suppliers offering reliable services, who work evaluating the transportation companies, in the analysis of risks of present and potential insureds, controlling shipments in ports and in insured’s warehouse.

ACE do an analysis of the logistic in the suppliers chain, which covers the evaluation of  the transportation companies their infrastructure is examined, their line of vehicles, the operative and safety systems, the entry process of personnel and vehicles; the financial statements, logistics and safety on the roads, their main client and losses.

At port control the transportation services are evaluated, the handling of merchandise at the moment the shipment begins the reception and re-shipment in the maritime ports as well as on land, the evaluation in control points within the routes most frequented by the carrier.

We have a network of professionals surveyors.  Local or International surveys covering packing, vessel selection, modes of transport, storage, handling methods, stowage and securing of containerized and break bulk cargoes.

In considering the necessity of offering and obtaining up to date permanent information concerning the transport, and Marine Loss Prevention of Colombia created an on-line system, which cover all the above mentioned processes, that will permit the interaction of the different representatives of the transport sector and insure direct ties with ACE, so as to improve the administration of the risk and optimize their results.

The software is organized by modules that permit the handling of insureds’ information with their evaluations, policies, annexes, shipments, authorized transporters; assigned port controllers; transporting companies with their respective study; drivers and vehicles; surveyors, ships, claims and module of statistics with managerial reports, adapted to the needs of the countries.

The program is designed to be supplied to the suppliers of Marine services, as well as the port controllers, evaluators of transporters and adjusters can be consulted by any of the persons or companies involved in the supply chain by means of a profile password that controls the type of information that can be enter or consulted.

This tool permits the handling of information in a large database, with the possibility of obtaining data in accordance with the role of the user in front of the business and the necessities of the region in each one of the countries.  This factor permits the integrity of the information with the confidence, reliability, seriousness and responsibility required by the ACE Marine areas in Latin America, and if necessary worldwide.
