Loss Prevention Program Booklet
This booklet’s main purpose is to stress the need for prevention programs, the importance of written procedures and adequate practice. A number of areas are discussed in relation to the benefits of having a sound loss prevention program. Areas of discussion include Pre-Emergency Planning, Emergency Response Team, Employee Training, Preventative Maintenance, Basic Fire Protection, Self Inspection, Impairments to the Fire Protection Systems, Smoking Regulations, Hot Working, Plant Security and Winter Precautions. A series of forms that support a number of the areas of discussion follow at the end of the booklet that can be adapted and used on site in order to compliment the overall Loss Prevention Program.
