HAMILTON, Bermuda -- November 15, 2004 -- ACE Limited (NYSE: ACE) today reported that it had received subpoenas from the Securities and Exchange Commission and the New York Attorney General requesting documents in connection with an investigation into non-traditional, or loss mitigation, insurance products. ACE has not been named or referenced in any lawsuits stemming from the investigation. ACE intends to comply with the subpoena.
