ACE USA today announced the appointment of Laurel Ulrich as vice president, Pacific Region, and branch manager of the Los Angeles branch office, Special Risk Facilities (SRF). Ulrich will report to Ken Riegler, senior vice president, regional manager, Pacific Region, also based in Los Angeles, Calif. The Pacific region includes the territories of San Francisco, and Los Angeles, Calif.; Seattle, Wash.; Phoenix, Ariz.; and Hawaii.
"The Pacific Region of SRF is a strategically vital territory for ACE. Laurel's excellent reputation in the industry and more specifically within this region will help ACE to continue to aggressively penetrate this market. As vice president, her substantial industry experience will provide a strategic perspective to business development and client and office management that will drive profitability and forge many important relationships," said Bill Curcio, president, ACE USA Special Risk Facilities.

Immediately prior to joining ACE USA, Ulrich served as vice president, client advisor for Marsh USA's Risk Management Casualty Department and as sales coordinator for Risk Management Accounts in Marsh's Los Angeles Division. Prior roles included underwriting and marketing management for AIG Risk Management and claims representative for Travelers Insurance Company.
Ulrich earned her bachelor of arts degree from San Diego State University, and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designation.
