ACE USA today announced the appointment of Edward G. Troy to president of ESIS, Inc. Based in Philadelphia, Troy has responsibility for managing the continued profitable growth and strategic direction of ESIS, Inc., the risk management services arm of ACE USA.
"Ed brings an exceptionally strong record of achieving growth and maximum profitability in his career," said Dennis B. Reding, president, ACE INA Holdings, Inc., and president and CEO, ACE USA. "The scope of his industry expertise and proven leadership abilities will complement the overall ACE business vision, and will serve to guide the future of ESIS, Inc."

Before joining ESIS, Troy served as president of Ed Troy Associates, a risk management consulting company with clients that included Fortune 500 corporations, global carriers, and national insurance brokerage houses. Earlier senior leadership positions include serving as executive vice president and manager of the National Accounts Market with Liberty Mutual Group; and senior vice president of AIG Risk Management, American International Group (AIG).
Previous management roles include regional director of National Accounts, Marketing Division for CNA Insurance Company; and senior casualty underwriter and senior vice president for ESIS, Inc., when it was a part of the Insurance Company of North America (INA). He began his insurance career as a casualty underwriter for Hartford Insurance Company.
Troy attended the College of Insurance of New York, and later attended the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School's Executive Education Program.
