ACE Tempest Re USA Announces New Members of its Executive Team
STAMFORD, CTNovember 20, 2000

ACE Tempest Re USA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACE INA Holdings Inc., underwriting on behalf of ACE Property and Casualty Insurance Company and ACE American Insurance Company, today announced additional appointments to its executive team.

Jacques Q. Bonneau, chief executive officer, ACE Tempest Re USA, said that he was pleased to announce the addition of R. Scott Stirling and Kevin M. Conlon to his executive team. He said, "We are committed to building the most experienced and innovative group in the broker market treaty reinsurance arena."

Stirling joins ACE Tempest Re USA as senior vice president in charge of property treaty underwriting. He comes to the company after seven years with Berkshire Hathaway's Reinsurance Division. Prior to that he was with North American Re and Industrial Risk Insurers.

Conlon, vice president in charge of claims management and contract wording, was formerly a claims management executive with Risk Capital Re, Zurich Re and Berkshire Hathaway's Reinsurance Division.

Mr. Bonneau said, "We continue to establish the position of ACE Tempest Re USA as a responsive and innovative reinsurance source with access to substantial risk capacity for property and casualty placements."
