Global Human Resources Officer, ACE Group


Phillip Cole joined ACE Group as Global Human Resources Officer in 2004. In this capacity, Mr. Cole is responsible for all of the group’s human resources (HR) operations, providing support to HR groups within the North America and Overseas General business segments, as well as to the HR group responsible for personnel in Bermuda.

Prior to joining ACE, Mr. Cole held various senior-level roles, including Vice President, Human Resources, for Guardian Life Insurance from 1999 to 2004; Director, Human Capital Strategy Practice, for PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1998 to 1999; and Vice President, Human Resources Planning & Development Practice, for Hay Group from 1992 to 1998.

Mr. Cole holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Tufts University, a master’s in business administration in international business and management from the Stern School at New York University, and a doctorate in clinical psychology from New York University.
