  Making ACE a Greener Place

The global employee participation program called ACE Green raises environmental awareness among employeesWe reuse and recycle materials whenever possible, and we've adopted measures to reduce emissions from our facilities and company-owned or -leased vehicles.

In December 2009, the ACE Group’s North America regional headquarters in Philadelphia earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The building, located near Independence Hall in the city’s Historic District, is the only LEED-certified existing building in Philadelphia. In addition, we have initiated a review of our Bermuda offices to determine the steps and investments we need to make in order to earn LEED certification as well.

Our employees are also actively engaged in making ACE a greener place. We have instituted a global employee participation program called ACE Green to raise environmental awareness among our 15,000 employees, and to encourage and support them in promoting environmental efficiency in their local offices.
